Yay!! It's Almost Fall!

Hey guys it's Enya from The Bakery, and I'm going to show you how to make a special fall treat! Lets introduce........ Cinnamon Brownies!!!

What you will need:

  • 1 cup (16 tablespoons) unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 1/4 cups sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups Dutch-process cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon espresso powder, optional
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract, or your favorite vanilla extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon oil, optional
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups unbleached all purpose flour
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Directions:

1) Preheat the oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 9" x 13" pan, line it with parchment, and if desired grease the parchment — this makes it easier to remove the brownies from the pan.
2) In a medium-sized saucepan set over low heat, melt the butter, then add the sugar, stirring to combine. Heat the mixture briefly, just until it's hot throughout; it'll become shiny looking as you stir it — this will dissolve some of the sugar and yield a shiny top crust on your brownies.
3) Stir in the cocoa, salt, baking powder, espresso powder, cinnamon, and flavoring(s).
4) Whisk in the eggs, stirring until smooth.
5) Add the flour, again stirring until smooth.
6) Fold in the chocolate chips.
7) Spoon the batter into the pan, spreading it to the edges.
8) Bake the brownies for 34 to 36 minutes, until a cake tester inserted into the center comes out clean. The brownies should feel set on the edges, and just barely set in the center.
9) Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely in the pan before cutting.
and........ VoĆla! (I think I spelled it wrong!)

COOLEST THING EVER!!!!!!!!!

So I just recently found this SUPER COOL thing at Starbucks! So I thought it would be beyond cool to share this with you guys!

So there is this thing at Starbucks that is called their secret menu. Now your probably wondering what is it? This is a website created by the fans of Starbucks that tells you how to customize your drink into whatever you want it to taste like. So, lets say I ordered a Vanilla Bean Frappuchino then I asked for 2 pumps of raspberry syrup. This would equal a cotton candy Frappuchino. On their website, there are all kinds for ways to make your drinks awesome!!
I heard about this a while ago when my friend said she got a cotton candy frappuchino. The website is :http://starbuckssecretmenu.net You can even download the free app with all the recipes!! Here is how a Butterbeer Frappuchino looks like (from Harry potter (non alcoholic))
I encourage you to try this out!

Hope you enjoyed!

Frozen Yogurt Coconut Pops!

Hey guys! It's Enya and I'm going to be showing you how to make frozen yogurt coconut pops!!
(these look delicious) Heres how you do it:

Ingredients:

Fruit puree:

  • cups fruit, such as peaches, strawberries and blueberries
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • Juice of 1 lemon

  • COCONUT YOGURT:
  • cup plain thick yogurt
  • 1 1/2 cups  powdered sugar
  • tablespoon coconut extract
    • 1/2 cup unsweetened coconut flakes, for  garnish
    • DIRECTIONS

For the puree: Blend together the fruit, sugar and lemon juice in a blender until smooth.
For the yogurt: Whisk together the sugar, yogurt and coconut extract
Pour alternating layers of the fruit puree and coconut yogurt into popsicle molds, and then insert the sticks. Freeze until the pops are firm, about 8 hours.

For easy removal, dip the bottom of the molds into hot water for a few seconds to loosen the pops. Remove the pops from the mold, dip in coconut flakes and serve.
      I got this recipe from:http://www.cookingchanneltv.com/recipes/nadia-g/frozen-yogurt-coconut-pops.html
